摘要
In the context of the global digital economy, digital transformation has become an important strategic choice for enterprises to enhance their international competitiveness. Small and medium - sized enterprises (SMEs), as an important part of the global economy, are facing both opportunities and challenges in the process of digital transformation. This paper explores the impact of digital transformation on the international competitiveness of SMEs. It first analyzes the driving factors of digital transformation of SMEs, then discusses the specific manifestations of how digital transformation enhances the international competitiveness of SMEs, and finally puts forward corresponding countermeasures for the challenges faced by SMEs in the process of digital transformation. The research shows that digital transformation can help SMEs improve operational efficiency, expand international markets, and enhance innovation capabilities, thereby effectively enhancing their international competitiveness. However, SMEs also face problems such as insufficient funds, lack of technical talents, and inadequate digital security in the process of digital transformation. Therefore, SMEs need to formulate reasonable digital transformation strategies, strengthen cooperation with external institutions, and improve their own digital capabilities to cope with these challenges.
