摘要
This paper presents an in-depth case study of the Chengdu Metro, a system 7 that has fundamentally redefined its host city in little more than a decade. The analysis 8 traces the network's development from its 2010 inauguration to its contemporary status 9 as one of the world's largest rapid transit systems. This paper argues that the Chengdu 10 Metro represents a paradigm of infrastructure-led urban transfor ation, where the 11 transit system functions as a deliberate, state-directed instrument for economic 12 generation, strategic spatial restructuring, and municipal branding. Employing a 13 qualitative analysis of academic, technical, and industry reports, the paper examines 14 three core pillars of this transformation: (1) The "hyper-growth" development strategy 15 and the deep institutionalization of a comprehensive "Transit-Oriented Development" 16 (TOD) doctrine ; (2) The strategic application of advanced technologies, including 5G, 17 fully-automated lines (ATO), innovative passenger-facing services, and novel 18 c mmercial typologies ; and (3) The quantifiable transformative impacts on land value, 19 commercial activity, and urban form . The findings reveal a complex, highly successful, 20 yet contested model. This mod l has produced significant economic gains and 21 operational innovations but also surfaces profound challenges related to socio-economic 22 equity and the nuanced paradoxes of environmental sustainabiliy. The paper concludes 23with an evaluation of the "Chengdu Model" and its implications for global urban 24 planning and strategic business management.
